Off Limits are an events company established over 20 years ago, based in Nottingham, We are a leading events company organising corporate events, Hen and Stag parties, It's a Knockout and Multi Activity days just to name a few. Head of Events

We’re recruiting for an exciting Head of Events role and looking for an experienced events leader to join our expanding team. It’s an exciting opportunity where you’ll be required to deliver our team building and corporate events for clients in a professional and fun manner. Can you manage event mangers and staff effectively as well as possess the skill set to multi-task under pressure? Do you have the talent to influence individuals to step outside of their comfort zone safely, to encourage motivation, communication and team building? The candidate must possess strong interpersonal skills as well as previous leadership experience in a similar role. You will need to monitor events and activities effectively as well as implement relevant staff training and performance systems.

Essential Skills:
  • People management skills consistent with Overall management of all Events Managers and Events Staff
  • Ensuring the health, safety and welfare and enjoyable running of allocated events
  • To provide detailed project management of any Off Limits corporate events requiring it from start to delivery
  • To overview all upcoming events providing immediate feedback of any issues to the relevant departments
  • Represent the Off Limits Group at client meetings
  • Provide knowledge and information of all events and activities as required by all departments
  • Have a clear understanding on Implement and regularly review all events documentation such as SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and RA’s (Risk Assessments)
  • Provide training, guidance, advice and support to team members with responsibility for the delivery of events, and health and safety compliance
  • To implement monthly management meetings with a pre-planned itinerary
  • Regular monitoring and reviews of all allocated staff following the company policies
  • Develop and maintain relationships both internally (sales v operations) and externally (third party suppliers, including venues) to ensure the successful delivery of events
  • To utilise and improve any internal systems used within the role
  • To assist with the creation of new and the improvement of current events and activities
  • Develop and maintain a high-level understanding of what Off Limits Events expects of event management team and to ensure adequate training CPD (Continual Personal Development) is monitored and implemented when required, needed or expected

Location Event Crew/Instructors

We are recruiting for Saturday work in the following locations: Bristol, Brighton, Bournemouth and Manchester.

Looking for an exciting role in which your personality can really shine, a chance to earn money while having a great time with clients on their Hen, Stag or Corporate Event. Checking people are climbing the slippery slope correctly or making sure they have the giant costume on right before they run over the moving carpets.

Corporate Event Sales Executive

The role of an Event Executive is essentially to maximise on all opportunities that exist from enquiries that we receive and also from established contacts. The individual is required to utilise the company facilities and database of contacts to the full and ensure that we provide a service, which is second to none.

Essential Skills:
  • To achieve both personal and team monthly and yearly targets of increased sales and conversion rates within the corporate division of the company.
  • Taking and dealing with enquiries over the phone and email; to include preparing proposals, venue finding and conducting regular follow ups. All quotes should be forwarded to clients within 4 hours unless agreed by the team manager. In addition a call should follow the quote within 30 minutes of being sent to ensure the correspondence has been received.
  • Obtaining and communicating the final details of event bookings to Operations and Logistics via a weekly meeting and daily catch up meetings at 11am and 2pm.
  • Completing a daily task list of appointments, emails and calls.
  • Liaising with venues and suppliers for events booked.
  • Ensuring client’s event contracts are signed and invoiced prior to the event dates.
  • Ensuring any booking relevant PO’s are raised prior to event dates.
  • Identify and action all opportunities to up sell on events.
  • Developing and maintaining a call and contact plan for all accounts to ensure that regular contact is made to all clients, providing updates and maximising all business opportunities.
  • Create monthly reports on key account figures, business and potential business opportunities.
  • Action any requests of the Team Manager.
  • Documenting sales achieved in order to identify areas for further development.
  • Identifying Accounts that have potential and liaise with the Account Manager on processes to develop these.
  • To attend client meetings and appointments to discuss the services of when applicable.
  • To attend familiarisation trips and networking/ industry events in order to enhance client relations and develop future contacts.
  • To attend training days when applicable.
  • Working with Team Manager to complete tender documents when applicable.
